Beyond Earth is a science strand from Delineator Film Lab. Where the story-worlds are invented, these worlds are real, planets and moons that astronomers have actually detected, some of them potentially habitable, none of them ever seen up close.
Each film takes what current observations and climate models tell us and turns it into something you can stand inside: the light of an alien sun, the colour of a distant ocean, the shape of ice on a world locked toward its star. Every view is a scientifically informed reconstruction, an educated picture, never a photograph.
Worlds we have found, but never seen.
Every world in this series is a real place with real coordinates. We start each journey the same way, leaving Earth and travelling out to the star that holds it.
The strand's first destination, a short science film travelling 48 light-years to a possible water world orbiting a cool red dwarf.
New destinations are added as the series grows, each a real planet reconstructed from the latest science.
